The Sweet Spot has been a labour of love. We transformed my toy making shop into the Bnb it is today in 2016, with the help of friends and family, as a means of helping my daughter pay for her education. It has been a beautiful and rewarding endeavour. My goal has been to use as many recycled and repurposed materials and furnishings as possible, and I think that has made it a place that anyone can feel comfortable in. Now I call it my "Lullaby for a Travelling Child" and I have grown fond of welcoming people from around the world, hearing your stories and being part of your Yukon dream coming true. I am grateful to each of our guests for helping us along this journey and for choosing us to help you along yours. Many thanks.
I am deeply grateful to have raised my family within the Traditional Territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta'an Kwach'an Council, who have lived here since time immemorial, and who continue to speak for the land and people as one. It is a wonderous thing, to live a life with fresh air and clean water and friendly neighbours in every direction. We are so lucky.
